Default GWS flight packs

The last three flight packs for indoor and slow flyers that I have purchased included a 7 cell NiMH battery of 180mAh and 8.4 V. However, the instructions with the flight pack state the battery should not exceed 7.2V.
Any advice on to whether this will damage the receiver or ESC?

GWS has failed to respond to any inquiries.

They'll be fine. The BEC circuit in the ESC will take care of that.

Mostly I'm guessing they are concerned about voltage to the motors. Those little GWS IPS motors are easily burned up if run over voltage and over propped.
