Paul,
Way to go with the Lights! If I would do anything with Lights I would fly my model right at Sunset as I would not have the Guts to fly in total darkness.
John,
You hijack all you want. We need more people here to appreciate this model as you posted it is a very nice model.
Regards,
Carlos

Carlos it is not that bad flying at night like you mentioned start at dusk then work your way up to darkness. It is nice you have no distractions as you enjoy the lights floating around.
The only time it gets a little hairy is coming in for the landing at least at our field 350 foot runway with trees about 400 feet from one end the other end trees are only 100 feet away at the other end. It's always good to get the adrenaline pumping once in awhile.
Wish we had one lone Palm tree.

Back when the e planes were just starting, we flew at night with e gliders .No esc just on off toggle switch pushed on and off by extra servo and c size batteries for brushed motor power. There were a couple of us flying at night with different colored glow sticks taped to each wing and another color for front of glider. It was crude but we had a blast trying to do spot landings on second base at the local baseball field. lol joe

I have lost count how many missions my beloved Senorita has but, it is still in perfect condition!
I am posting these fantastic high resolution pictures from the one and only David Hart (Dwhart24) who is the official photographer for at least one RC Magazine (FLY RC) and one of the official photographer's for the TOP GUN, BIG GUN, BIG WARBIRD etc...etc....
You can view David Hart's Work at:

These pictures were taken at our Moon Port Modelers RC Club in Titusville, Florida. Thank goodness for the Aluminum Shelters so, we can work and charge our batteries in the shade!!!
David caught me doing some neat Touch & Goes as the late morning was completely almost Dead Calm.
Thanks David! (I am glad you decided to re-join our RC Club!)

Thanks guys! I am glad that I flew her this past weekend as it has been just too long in my Master Bedroom collecting dust! I am happy that I brought it to fly this weekend as it is always a joy to see her in the air.

Guys!
Amazing that after perhaps almost 2 years not having any activity on my SIG Senorita, I finally got my lazy Rusty Dusty and fixed a broken Aileron Plastic Horn (Stock Hardware). I replaced it with a Nylon Horn and all I had to do was drill new holes at the Hardwood Block within the Aileron.
Total of three Flights and some additional issues came up such as:
1. During the 1st flight of the day, Denis alerted me that there was fluttering noise coming from my Senorita. It was the Left inboard - trailing wing covering and Jeff saved the day by providing me with some 3M clear packing tape.
2. During the 2nd Flight, the model lost (Prop and Prop Adapter) came OFF after take-off. Landed it like a Pro with lots of cross wind and very gusty conditions.
Third Flight (3rd) was magic, even though the wind situation was even worse, the model flew like there was no wind and sport acrobatics was possible.
Some pictures.

Replaced it with High Quality Nylon Horn!
