Hi All,

Here is a video of my new Tempest V 1/6th scale with Benedini sound. 2 pound sound with 2 - 4" Visaton FRS10WP speakers, two 50v benedini amplifiers and a Mini sound card. 12s Lipos drive the prop and the amplifiers. Four flashing LEDs in the cannon and transmitter operated gun sound. First time for the Coffman starter bang put in by Thomas Benedini where an explosive cartridge was used to start the H24 cylinder Napier Sabre sleeve valve engine.

Very nice flight. It sounds beautiful. At times it can be mistaken for the real plane.
Congratulations on a job well done.

Very nice John, I do love these sound systems, makes the model really come to life
I tend to mostly fly my sound systemed T-28 more than the rest of my models these days and may well sell all my IC models for electric with sounds

I'm hoping the cost will eventually come down for these sounds systems as they cost about as much as PNP parkflyers like the T-28, A1-Skyraiders, etc. Really changes the face of electrics. The jaws drop from the gasser guys. Just need to mass produce.

Bundy
You probably already know and it is not cheap but I am sure Hobbyking can supply a plug in sound that is fitted to the Texan to give it a radial sound. Col

Youcan get the R1340 Wasp radial sound from HK for $35.00. Developed by Art-tech, it's a sound card and speaker. I have 2 of them. Sounds cool in the pitt area.
