This is one great flying bipe! From the time of take-off until I land, everyone watches and many cannot believe that it is electric powered!

It takes off in about 60' and then can go straight up...rolling...as far as I want to go!

I love flying this Ultimate!!!

Default Let's see those 'big' electrics!!!!

In an e-flight world dominated by park fliers, let's see some 'big' electics! Revive this thread and post your + 4lb +48" span birds!!!

Having flown glow for 25 years I really like planes I can see in the air, come in smooth for landing and aren't knocked across the field in a light breeze!

I have a scratch built AP platform based on an old Eagle 63 wing with optionsal tip extensions that take it from 60" to 108" on 6S aprox 1200W

I'm still doing tests and have cut down the vertical stab, added cooling, build a camera mount since this photo. I am continuing to modify and will end up glassing and painting the fuse.

I also have a .40 Kyosho spitfire conversion on about 4S 600W

and an electric 2.6M DG100

I know I asked for pics and I don't have many - I promise to take some and post soon!

OK, I've got big plane envy! thanks alot

I saw Bill's Shoestring and Waco at SEFF. Both beautiful airplanes and sweet flyers too.

Someday I'll pull the video of your Waco flight at SEFF out of the camera Bill...:o

My Hyperion CAP 232 25e (Wattflyer Buyers Club Item #2), when it arrives, will be the biggest bird in my fleet. At least until I finish building the 60" Electricub:o.

Very soon I will begin putting together my 27% Pitts M-12. I got my motor from Big Mike a week or so ago and can't wait to get her going now.

I have a Hacker A60-18M with a Castle HV85 ESC to go into it.

Ive had several big electrics and keep getting or building more

My Great Planes 160 Ultimate was a 2600 watt setup. Awesome flyer. A real adrenalin rush.

I traded it for the 30% KMP Yak and moved the power system over to it and added cells to get to 3200 watts. Another awesome flyer. I sold the airframe on it and the power system is awaiting a new home.... TBD

I currently have several large foamies Im flying that go from about 1000 watts up to about 1500 watts.

The Mega Capricorn is my altime favorite plane. Span is 60" and length is about 90". Wing area over 3300 sq inches. Its curently flyign right at 1000 watts peak on a 6S1P A123 pack.

The XXL Polaris and 84" long x 60" span and is running a 6S2P A123 pack at about 1350 watts peak.

The Foamy Yak BUFY v2.0 is 74" span and runnig a 6S1P A123 pack around 1100 watts.

My FlyFly F86 is running a 7S Lipo at around 1500 watts. Its a 60" span.
