Talking Foam cutting results

The first photo is of the side that was cut with a razor knife. The second photo is of the same piece but of the side that was cut at the low voltage setting. as you can see, it seems ive found the nitch at the first try. my wire is holding up and shows no sign of weakening there isnt even any noticeable smoke produced while cutting. and the end result is a finnish just as plane as the factory edges if not better. Iam all kinds of excited now!

It seems that once you reach a temp that cuts with out creating a bunch of smoke then you have probly found the right temp. that was a cut on about 1 inch stock. through the plastic covering and all.

Default These guys are always messing around

If in doubt, it's usually something they are joking around with, these guys are constantly messing around in that department, and sometimes they get lost in the translation from new members. Wait till flying monkey chimes in, you want to see some all out crazyness.... I've even read in another post where we were doing the usual abusing the monkey banter and a new member thought we were serious about it all. You gotta stick around and read these boards, you'll see we all take things lightly, there are only a few members you gotta watch out for, but you'll know who they are shortly.

Yes, EZ cad can do that, in fact, if you check my avatar, that is a recent, screwing around in 3d graphics world to make a new one, no biggie. Gotta try lightwave, that's hard, Cad, well, it's learning the menue system as well, they are all pretty close by general nature regardless.

Show us a plane, you are into edf jets, might as well start with that as your new project on it.
