The 182 trimmed in IS a hands off flyer.

I have been told about the sensitive characteristics of the DR1

It might not be going in the air right away...

Hands off huh?.....nice...
Get the Ultimate up first....learn to fly it first with low, then high, then 3-D rates......you'll be plenty ready for that little ole WW1 tripe.

Which plane?

The DR1 sits safely on the work bench.

The Bipe is awaiting it's maiden crash in the morning.

And the dang Cessna...

Never did like that plane anyhow.

So I take it the Cessna is done for?

What was the cause of it's demise?

Well, other than not being the friendliest flyer...

One of the aileron servos crapped out.

This is the second or third HS55 I have had problems with.

I am almost ready to swap over to Futaba, or even the stupid bluebirds that have yet to let me down...

I have stripped severalof the 55's... as long as they aren't pushed too hard they do O.K. .... They seem to strip when crashing as well.
the 56's and 65's are much better.

But in a Heli failure could be brutal.no gliding like a plane.........

I've landed a plane with right aileron stuck all the way up....another with a stripped and slipping elevator servo...and a couple other servo related issues...
56's or 65's would be like an insurance policy....

No gliding?

I have successfully autogyrated down from flight several times on RealFlight.
