Question What would you like to see built?

Right now I'm kinda at a stand still on a project (Hansa S5A check the build out over in the WWI section) and would like to get started on another project. To maybe get the wheels of building rolling. I have some ideas but would like some input from the board. Heres a couple stips.
No 3D style planes

Something out of the ordinary you really don't see any kits/ARFs

Nothing real out there like some crazy super futuristic thingy.

No real modern jets, don't like the looks of them. I'm more of a classic person meslef.

Other than that its fair game.

Lets see what we can come up with.

Thats a beaut Bill. Kinda looks like the WACO C-62 only a little longer nose. Heres a 3vue of the L-10.
I have a butt load of 3Vues to use as ref, in building.

Heres a video of a WACO I built along with the 3vue. I used the KF airfoil on the wing.
I did'nt get painted and died when it plowed into the curb!
As you can see my wife thought the lens cap was on

Don't know if you're in to warbirds or not but you rarely ever see a Douglas Dauntless.

Japan sure didn't like them flying towards their carriers. For some reason they all sank after we flew over them.

I wonder why that was??? LOL

I have heard the reason for the holes in the flaps was to make that screaming, "you're going to hell" noise they made!

Sorry Bill the one in the video is a YKS WACO. The C-62 looks like this.
Tom I actually love warbirds and have thought about the Dauntless or Brewster Buffalo

They had upper and lower spoiler flaps for normal flap use and in combination were used to control terminal dive velocity. All the perforations were to minimize tail buffeting in a dive.

I'm convinced that's becuase the model companies are so cheesy that it would cost them an extra 10 cents to make decent molded wheel bays, like the Guillows model has, a decent molded canopy and some cocpit detail, the wing vents and half-round strips around the gull bend points, and the recessed cowl detail that would add a tiny bit to complexity. They're bums.

I've always like the Typhoon and it's another one you rarely ever see in an RC plane. Go for it! Here's a link to a large gas model.

A P-39 Aircobra would be nice too. So many beautiful warbirds to choose from.

Murph I have some plans for the Tripe.

Bill sorry no luck on the L-10.

Could you imagine if a company had the resources to make an ARF of any plane you wish. All you do is contact them and tell them what you want and they make it (FOAM of course). Just think of the revenue that could generate.
