Even though we have a desert background where I am, we do more flying in bright blue sky than against the desert background. Silver is hard to see in a bright blue sky.

These are my videos for the new Freewing T-33 Shooting Star 80mm EDF Jet.

Unboxing:

Maiden Flight:

Here are the review notes for this Freewing T-33 EDF Jet:

Pros:
- Parts and pieces come polybagged for protection
- High-end finish on the model
- Setup was basic and straight-forward
- Robust landing gear for grass friendly ops and hard landings
- New powerful and efficient 80mm in-runner 9-blade EDF setup
- Model officially licensed by Lockheed Martin
- Split flaps
- It was locked in the entire flight!

Cons:
- Missing paint on the back of the canopy
- The left main blew out of the wing on the third landing

When I got mine I did the tug test on the mains as some people were saying they were loose or coming out on landing. Mine seemed to be glued in very well. Total of 8 flights so far with no issues. With the new inrunner system this thing is a rocket ship! All the guys at the club have been inpressed wit hthe performance.

This is the Maiden Flight Featuring GoPro Footage from my head on my other YouTube channel. Listen to the very end after John stops recording to hear my unfiltered thoughts on the jet lol

We had a total of 9 T-33s in the air at one time today during the 16th Annual Arizona Electric Festival! If any pics or video get posted, I will share here.

Video of 8 T-33s in the air at once (was supposed to be 9, but one did not get in the air).

This video has a lot mixed in it, including some forgotten fun before an incident with my T-33, along with helping folks fly a Hobbyzone Carbon Cub S.

Hated to see that landing happen. Was the gear even glued at the factory at all? It was super nice to see you help your fans at the end!

Thank you Don! It really was not well glued in well at all and I had to fix the other side too. It has been solid since then though and is a great flying jet
