Default Forward Flight

Why am I having so much trouble. I can hover nose-in, but foward flight is eluding me. I've been practicing on my flight sim before I get my BCPP back in the air.

I guess I can answer my own post. My problem is loosing lift in a tight turn and not flying the tail. I've been looking at it that way on the sim and getting better. My transistions back to a hover have improved as well.

maybe try flying bigger circles?

Thinks happen slower in bigger manuvers.

I figured out another thing is flying with the throttle in a turn. Boy there is sure a lot of difference between helis and planes

I heard one time that the only thing a heli wants to do is kill you,

Yah it took me like 2 weeks to get comfortable with nose in hovering, but then finally started becoming more natural gradually. I was struggling on FF too though, could kinda do it but not the greatest. All of a sudden it just clicked though on like saturday night, not sure what happend but all of a sudden i was flying forward and i just automatically knew all orientations and stuff lol. I was doin figure 8, doin them around the pilons chasing people around and other helis. Im not sure, all i can say is practice practice practice. Ive owned this sim like 3 months and it's helped me alot, couldnt imagine getting all this stick time on a heli.

I kinda imagine turning like drifting a car, u gotta counter turn after ur turn a little and give it a little gas . helps me lol.
