Default IMAX B6 charger set-up question

I have a question on the IMAX 6B. I am charging my Rx nicad pack and the charger will only show MAN .. how do I switch it to AUTO? In the instruction book it talks about AUTO and shows Auto in the illustrations.

I never could figure that out myself... I just use man... it works without a hitch... I'm not really sure what Auto would do anyways...

I would normally just charge at a lower amp.. but the problem is that the charger will charge the 4.8v pack to 7 volts.. I don`t like that. I then discharged to 5 volts.

That is fine and normal. My 9.6 gets charged to over 12.

yes, my 9.6 ends up 12 also...

immediately it drops to about 10.5 and then within a minute or two...drops to maybe 9.9 or so under load that way...

If you guys are still interested, to switch back and forth between MAN and AUTO press both the INC and DEC buttons at the same time.

To be honest I have no idea...

I leave mine in AUTO and set it to 1C of the NiMH pack I'm going to charge and it charges it at 1C.
I've not even tried the manual mode.
