Default What size prop adapter fits a GWS slow fly prop (10x4.7)

The motor is a BP A2217-9. 4mm shaft. BP Hobbies offers these optional adapters, but I have no idea which (if any) is appropriate:

F455: Aluminum Prop Adapter Union Type - 4.0mm
F455: Aluminum Prop Adapter Round Type - 4.0mm
F455: Aluminum Prop Adapter Short Type - 4.0mm
F455: Aluminum Prop Adapter Long Type - 4.0mm
F451: Aluminum Prop Adapter Slim Type -4.0mm

TIA guys...

Dave

Any of those will work, I usually use the collet type.
In any event you will have to drill out the prop to fit the prop shaft of the adaptor.
BE WARNED, that motor will over-rev the GWS slow flite prop on a 3S or higher battery.

I'd get a 10x6 GWS HD for that motor (15A/162W, 33oz @ 47mph) - it will draw less than the 10x4.7 RS (which may draw ~20A which exceeds the motors specs), it will safely withstand the 8340rpm (as opposed to about 5000-6000rpm at most for the RS), and after boring it out to 6mm, to suit a 4mm collet adapter, there will still be plenty of "meat" left in the hub.

Thatnks for the heads-up. I decided to switch to an APC electric prop as recommended by BP Hobbies. A littel heavier than the GWS, but should be OK. Also, the APC fits the stock adapter perfectly with no reaming necessary.

If you have the 10x5 APC E it will draw almost exactly what the 10x6 GWS HD would have drawn!
