Default Futaba FP-T7UAP programing question

OK, I just got this Futaba PCM 7 channel computer radio. It is the model FP-T7UAP. This is not the 'Super' version of this radio. I have read the darned manual till my eyes have about bled and I cannot find info -anywhere- (including about 45 minutes chasing Google hits ) that can tell me a couple of simple answers.

1. How many models will this thing hold in memory? It seems the Super does 4.

2. How do you specify which model? (Providing it can store more than one model)

This really is driving me crazy. So if any of you folks out there have one of these PLEASE let me know.

Mike, The 7UAP does not have model memory. Other than that and the color it's about the same as the 7UAPS.

Thanks Steve. After all the poking around I did over the past few days that is the conclusion I came to. It's a shame as this rig while an old model PCM set is brand new.

Don Edberg publishes a book about programing the Futaba 7 channel computer radios. You can probably find the book at a swap meet or order one from Don Edberg direct. The manuel that came with these radios left a lot to be desired. Usually after reading the manuel you came away scratching your head. Better off trying to find an 8uaf or an 8 uaf super. Much better and easier to program. I know, I have all three.

Thanks for all the input folks. It has been helpful. What I am going to do is sell the 7U and a like new JR XF631 I have and buy a Hitec Optic 6 with Spectra. I think this will meet my needs perfectly.
