Default Tower vs. Horizon 3.7v battery connection colors

I have an old beat up rattletrap Horizon micro Stearman. The battery connector is behaving like the plug is no good. I have a couple of plugs I can pull off off of old wrecked Tower Micros. Problem is the Horizon wires are black and white and the old Tower leads are red and blue. How would I connect a tower plug to a Horizon brick?

black = blue = minus
white = red = plus

But why not remove wires completely, or buy new plugs?

Connector tests, plus pictures
Older version of that page, contains some other connectors
Excellent site, do have a look at the controller, motor, charger, power supply, battery etc. tests.

Steve R Horizon called me at 7pm CDT as they were closing up and said he was not sure but would get out a meter and figure it out. Then 5 minutes after 7 he called back at told me the same thing you just said: blue to black and red to white.

The intermittent Electrical connection when the battery was bring installed pretty well convinced me that itís just the plug to the 3.7v battery.,. I think splicing the wires, which I have done before on high time models (257 flights on this one) is a simple effective option vice trying to do a major rewire?!? Which is likely beyond my simple level. Iíll let you know if it restores my old bird as soon as I get it done.

And... big thanks!

Default Success!!!

Easy fix. Staggered the solder joints and covered with heat shrink tubing!
