It would be fun to watch those big birds fly combat. It would also be fun to fly them, but we can't even get good pilots to fly the F&F's, and they are cheap, and easy to build.
Plus if we started flying 3 pound combat planes, we would have to wear helmets. Like Eddie says, "if my head got dented on this side, it would mess up my part"

I'm not going to try and compete this year I just want to check it out. Winter is a slow time of year at work and my plane budget is busted.

Wow! I actually worked on a plane today. I built a new F&F since my last one seemed to come apart while I was in Tulsa last fall
. I haven't touched a plane since September. I had to remember how to build it again. I've also got another combat P-47 cut and glued together and starting to assemble the Grasshopper plane Brett built for me. I guess snow and crappy weather is good for something.

That's what I'm hoping for James. I don't have anything flying that I can step outside and fly. I figure if I get a few foamies going I can fly in front of the house some. All my other planes are a little too big and fast to fly at home.

Helloooooo Tom? Anyway, I had a good day today, We got to fly COMBAT! I clipped Scott's streamer on the first sorte, Scott got mine on the second one, then my tail got shreaded by ............by.........I forgot his name, I just went blank. Thru all of the dispare, sorrow, and choking back the tears, I probably blocked it out. OH! it was Rod. Hey my smiles at the bottom of post page are all rearanged. Thats strange?

great time flying combat today!!!!!!!!! we need more victims, i mean flyers, have to gang up on rod next time since he got the high horsepower machine, maybe we can talk barry into one, and greg, jack,skip,paul,kevin, o heck, everybody!!! can not wait till next time!

Forget the streamer cutting. I'm gonna cut off your tail first, then your wings, and then as your wreckage is going down, a quick swoop thru your fuse to finish off the electronics. If you get out your backup plane, expect more of the same. If you say "please spare me", I might let you Tap Out.
