Yet another update to the Phoenix sim. Version 5.0n. I've been lucky so far. No issues with version 5 yet.

Good to hear some fun flying has started.
What a long winter. We are so ready.

Where is everybody? Low winds and nice temps. Perfect flying conditions. I'll be out here for a few more hours

Wow I am not the only one with a I-charger now it seems... my 106b has been flawless for 2 years now fed with my 20 amp power supply.... really great for tight balance lipo charges and IR readings ...

Yup! I pulled the trigger on the 406 duo. The 10 extra amps was the deal maker for me. Should be here by the weekend.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Carbon Z Cub. As such, I have 3 bird that need to go. A Graupner motor glider (RxR with 1 battery), an E-Flight Apprentice (RTF with 1 battery) and a Telemaster Electro (RxR with 1 battery).

Where is everyone.

We went out flying with the new TechOne Dogfighters.
Four flights each pulling streamers chasing each other.

A new guy showed up with a big Goblin heli running a weed wackier motor.

Sounds like you guys had a good time. I had too much stuff to do at home. I have been slowly getting my gear together for the season. I just got my new charger and I have lipos on the way.

Oiled all my bearings and replaced the one way bearing on my Blade 450 today. Temps and winds were ideal today, so I maidened the 450 after upgrading the tail to aluminum and carbon fiber this winter. Bye bye cheap plastic The tail wasn't holding in the 9mph winds, so I adjusted the gyro settings and it was dialed in then. This heli is looking good
I also got one quick mild 3d flight in with the mCPX BL before the sun went down.

I just got some 50C lipos for my 450's. Hopefully I'll get to test them some time this week

I have to agree with you there. That it's why I have only been flying my sailplane and a few others. No helis. I just wanted the pure enjoyment of flight. I will get to the tinkering and tweaking of helis later in the season.

That is my next step , i have one tail bom suppot rod to glue in as well, with calibration of tail assembly, i am thinking it will fly late spring... forgot to mention. It ended up 0 pitch with the radio mid stick, i am glad. I wonder if i can get away with +-10 degs full collective instead of the 12 degrees recommended by align???

You should be OK with 10 degrees to start out with. Once you get comfortable you can always increase it to suit your needs. I dont know about your setup, but 12 -14 degrees should be ok too unless the motor bogs down on punch outs.
