charged up 3 packs, going to park for a little action if these winds calm some...
also reworking my Dynam grand cruizer today, installing a knockoff servo for the steering arm, will take pic later but before the steering arm was connected to the rudder servo with a long piano wire, jamming up in the foam and I would lose both steering and the rudder was not as effective

since I haven't been able to fly I have been doing maintenance and upgrades to some of my fleet. I took an extra set of wheel pants from my Eratix and put them on my Profile Bipe. Looks much better now.

I also ordered the aluminum case for my Blade 300CFX as well. Plenty of room for tools, batteries, spare parts and the heli slips right in like a glove. I also like that they give you a shoulder strap. Here is a pic

It seems like you have to buy a lot of upgrades to get those Blade helis flying right. Are all those upgrades necessary or just preference?

For the 300 it is just preference. There was a little flex on the stock plastic tail case, so I switched it out. It flew fine. I have seen videos of the 500x stock plastic tail case moving in flight. I am not sure why they would put a plastic tail case on a 500 size machine

If you are flying this weekend let me know. I have a scale EC-135 that I want to do some test flights on. Its been down for a long time. I really don't remember if it had any issues or not its been so loong since I flew it last.

Newjak check out this video, we can tool with the flight gains WHILE flying and soon Android compatible! uses telemetry built in to the new receivers . Also they will support all kinds of features built in, so you do not have to buy separate components

Maiden tomorrow, heck what am I saying, I am flying this plane, I want it with the most flying service and some practice in the not so friendly Delaware weather wind $hit gotta put up with.... AS3X is pretty neat watching it calibrate itself... also say yes cloudy days, the green should be ok. Finding the right 3s 2200 pack weight is the hard part

I have already placed an order for the 315mm blades. I also threw in some new 68mm tail blades too. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
