No they will be away from the ramp. They are going to be parked near the hanger. The hanger will also be open and there is an Ultralight in there that can be seen. Also what I believe to be an Old Bellanca.

We are also talking to a guy who might be willing to bring his smoker and do up some ribs!

Ok we need to have an idea of how many pilots and how many airplanes we are looking at.
So if you think you are comming respond saying so. and how many and what type of planes.
Either posting here in the thread or email me at [email protected]

We need to know the number to plan the events and work out a time table.
It will be here before you know it!

I plan on being there. Probably won't bring more than 3 planes to do just general flying. Not going to do combat, I don't think.

As I said in another post 1987 I'll be there with 3 electrics, and I have a small canopy I can bring.

Another full scale plane

Looks like a nice green and white Rans S7 will be there too.
Was flying this evening and talking to the regulers about the fly in. And he landed and taxied up to where we were parked and talked for a bit. Checked out all our planes and I mentioned the fly in. He thought it sounded like a lot of fun and said he would be there with his plane.

I hope to be there, but with three kids (and a lovely wife) I don't always get to do what I want to do. I won't really know until about a week before the event. :o

I will keep my props crossed you can make it. It is looking like it is going to be a great time. With BBQ and even some fireworks one night.
Something tells me there is going to be a LOT of tigermoths there!
Bug huh? hmmmm...

Thanks, but it's not a matter of event turnout or something to keep the wife occupied -- it's about kids and their activities scheduled in Tulsa on that same day. My boys might each have a soccer game on that day, or there may be a birthday party I have to take somebody to -- in effect all parents are slaves to their children for 18 years! :o

However, my grandmother was born in Holdenville, and it's always been someplace I wanted to visit -- and Pete's Place isn't that far away, so I've got more than one reason to attend the Fly In.

If I can make it, I'll bring several from the following list:
  • Sureflite P-51 (40-sized, electric)
  • StarMax F-5 ducted fan jet (4.5-foot long, electric)
  • GWS P-51 (electric)
  • GWS ME-109 (electric)
  • ParkZone Stryker (electric)
  • KarglUSA Profile-38 (twin, electric)
  • J-Power F-5 ducted fan jet (electric)
  • GWS P-40 (if finished by then, electric)
  • Dr. John's MiG-29 (twin ducted fan, electric)
  • GWS Slow Stick (electric)
  • KarglUSA Profile Wildcat (electric)
  • Flying Stryo P-38 (twin, electric)
