Default Anyone seen these motors?

At the risk of starting a run on these (before I get one for myself) has anyone seen this recent arrival at United Hobbies?

https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=5358

I've been dreaming about a plane I can fly in my front yard and this might just be the powerplant. Of course it would also looks like just the ticket for one of the Cox micro warbirds.

And in the "how the heck can they do that" category is this one:

$6 bucks !?!?! You can spend more than that eating at McDonalds! I've got that much change in my sofa!

Anyway, leave some for me. As soon as I can sell some of my glow stuff on Ebay I will be making an order.

A guy over on RCG has bought a couple of them and ran one on the bench if I remember right. He was or is building a 6oz indoor plane for it. The thread was in the power systems section over there I think. Gonna have to put a order in for one also for this winters flying
Good Luck
Bob

Im sure the people that are winding these motors are only drawing maybe $1 a day in wages. Kind of sad acctually isnt it....

It really is sad. When you figure the cost of materials, there can't be much left over for the people putting them together.

It's not so much that "you get what you pay for".
It's more that "you don't get what you don't pay for"...IMO
