Default embedding Youtube Video

To all,

Is there a way to embed youtube video that I just don't understand? I can not get the system to embed a video no matter what I seem to do. Any technical guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Forge

Here's a test and what I keep getting... a youtube box with no video. I am copying and pasting the embedded code from youtube, but it doesn't want to display

I have the same problem at this forum as well......I've given up on my Utube......now I transfer to Photobucket and deliver here, has worked pretty well, just don't like the image quality on Photobucket as well as Utube.

Note:

If you are using an older version of Windows Explorer, Utube is picky. Try Google Chrome or another faster browser. It's worked a few times here for me.

There's a simple way which I have on my home computer. I copy and past the text I have saved there and fill the video code in. But I'm on my phone now. I'll try to remember to post it for you when I get back home.

Thanks Xmech, appreciate your help. ...it doesn't seem like it should be that hard. It's been a while since I posted video, but I've done it in the past

It works for me.

I use the special YouTube embed code.

[UTUBE]videonumber[/UTUBE] - Substitute the correct spelling of YouTube. Do not put the entire link address between the [UTUBE] tags, but only the sequence of numbers and letters at the end. So, if the video link to my video is:

http://youtu.be/dQXJyuHoe-E

I only put the dQXJyuHoe-E between the tags: [UTUBE]dQXJyuHoe-E[/UTUBE]

+1! Sad to see the membership going down. I recommended it to our whole club in our last newsletter.
