This will be my new FPV airplane one day. I have a Soar Star that I use for still shots that still works great, but I wanted to jump into the FPV stuff like everyone else on this board. I can't wait to take it out for it's first flight. I bought the plug and play version so I could use my 3cell 2200 battery. That made it pretty nose heavy so I balanced it out with some washers. I need to learn how to fly it a little heavy anyways since I'll be installing some FPV gear on it. Maybe by then I'll buy the smaller battery.


Just wanted to show it off. If you have any helpful tips feel free to send them my way.

Hey have you ever tried finish nails as an alternitive to washers taped to the wing?

You can insert them into the wing at the proper balance points, smaller nail further out on the wing etc?

Thanks for the finishing nail tip. Never even thought about that. For some reason even with or without my battery it was right side heavy.
