I am considering these for a 71" slick. If anyone can tell me their real life experience with the two I would appreciate it. (I would not mind the theory either if you are going to get into comparing them based on the numbers.

You might not find anyone with first hand experience with both motors. Guys who buy Hackers tend to stick with the better quality stuff and guys who by Motrofly tend to not want to spend the bucks on the good stuff.

If you want some comments on the specs, then Id suggest you post the specs for both motors. If people have to spend the time to go off looking for stuff, they are less likely to take the time to respond.

Without looking at the specs I can tell you that the hacker will be more efficient and better made and have a better warranty as well as being more expensive. For anything else, Id need to see the specs.

Motrolfly have an excellent reputation within the 3D community being favoured above any other brand by many top 3D flyers.. Their reputation for reliability is better than Hacker if anything, certainly not a 'cheap and chearful' option.
IMHO they are both good motors but what Motrolfly has in it's favour in the USA is outstanding customer service from Ken at Subsonic. He will even custom wind to any kv you want and supplies specially customised lightweight versions of some of the motors.

The Motrolfly DM2820-750 I use is an absolute beast considering it's modest size (150g). It pulls 1kw and delivers most of that power to the prop with decent efficiency which is remarkable considering how hard it's being driven. It spins a 14x7 prop at 8800PRM and gives nearly 8lb of static thrust!

As far as price, list is 150 for the hacker and 160 for the motrofly. 3DHS has the hacker as part of their package which would actually make it the better value.

What you are saying is what I have heard as well, I guess I just wanted confirmation, especially since I have liked hackers on my smaller stuff.
