Well here is my monster F15. Not very fast but it looks very cool puttin around the field.
length: 74" ws: 50"
AUW is approx: 30oz
Himax 2025-5300 geared 6.6 to 1
APC 10 X 5e prop
Hacker X30 esc
PQ 3s2200N Lipo
Suprisingly easy to build. Already started the F16. I still plan to beef up a couple of spots on this one and install a larger motor this weekend. This was made from plans offered at 3Dfoamy and other places.

Just give it about 3/4 throttle and a gentle toss. In the video, I kind of overthrew it, (only the 2nd flight), but I have since learned that with all of the wing area, you can just about drop and it will still fly away.

I just downloaded the plans from ParkJets.com. They have several available for free. I wish I could take credit for them, but I can't. I enlarged the plans on PaintShop Pro and printed them out. In fact, the toughest part of the entire project was matching up 75 tiled pages and tapeing them together.( a large picture window worked well for this). I would like to add a word of caution however, this thing is too big for me. I probably won't fly it much because of the trouble transporting it to the field. I will end up building one about 40 to 45" long. Should be about right and the performance will be alot better. Don't get me wrong, everybody has been blown away when they see it in person and it looks very cool in the air, but the thing is too big for my shop and my truck. I have a Chevy Blazer and with the back seats down the nose sticks out between the front seats. It might be neat for those special occasions such as a big fly-in etc...

I'll have to make a smaller version also, something no longer than 3 or so feet long if I want to be able to transport it to the field without a hitch.

Ok wattflyer, you have a problem now. The real Spencer J is here, and he's already started making shill accounts, he hasn't even been banned yet. You can try to contain it, but he knows how to change IP addresses, so it looks like you're going to have to put up with what RCGroups put up with

Nicely done! The video too! A removable wing- tailfeathers too- would be very useful for transport with this friendly giant. I am amazed by the flight qualities- the area increases greatly when you scale up- but it sure gets harder to store and haul around. The pusher jet is a great concept and this one is the King Cobra of the pack!
I did the tile print thing long ago and it is a pain but it sure works for enlarging plans with what you have.
There is a print shop up the street that does up to 4x8 prints on thin film vinyl that can serve as photographic Monokote! They also blow up a page size plan to a 3' x 4' or larger paper print for under $5! Just gotta start with a good 3 view picture file in high res on CD-R to give them.
Ain't foam fun?

Does it fly as lazy as it looks
What I mean is it seems to just float with no bad stalling habits
looks like a fun plane to relax with and just enjoy the day
maybe more motor just to have the speed when you want it
