Just looking at that, it is hard to believe it will fly. I have never seen one in the air. Please show us a video when you get it flying.

The Dog House flies really good for what it is. I actually sold these as a kit years ago. This was debuted at E Fest in 2009 I believe. My brother took some video at our last indoor, but I still don't have it. I will post some when I get it. Should be fun to have this flying with the Fokkers.

Working on #6. Took most of the dihedral out of the wings and added ailerons to the top 2 wings. The Red Baron will be piloting this one.

Madspadder
"Took most of the dihedral out of the wings...."
Of course the full size had no dihedral at all. Its 'tip to tip' box spars were built in one piece.

8 iron crosses to paint !! It's all worth the work when you see them flying. Real curious on how the ailerons are going to work. The plane flies so well the way it is designed. We will see this week hopefully.

It looks really nice. I really like the ageing on the wings and fuselage. Adds character.

Pretty simple to get that look. On most of the pictures I found the paint is applied at an angle and has a brushed look and a 2 tone effect. What I do is apply the lighter color as a base coat keeping my brush strokes on the same angle. I then apply the second coat with the darker color but brush out the excess paint keeping the brush fairly "dry". This second coat is lightly applied at the same angle as the first coat. The fuselage is usually painted with vertical strokes. Here is how it looks up close,

That really looks nice on that plane. Curious to see how the ailerons work. So you have all three controls, right?

Got the new Snoopy and Charlie Brown Dog House flying with the Fokkers. I also scaled a Dog House down 50%. Only got one flight on the mini because it lost the prop saver on a "high speed pass". Still need to finish up the last fokker, but here is a video of the Dog Houses:

Thanks for the video of the Doghouse flying. That is the strangest looking thing I have ever seen flying. Don't know why but it is. That is really cool. They seem pretty sturdy. When the Red one stalled, it clacked on the floor and then immediately took off again. Cool

That was my brother making the hard landing on his first flight, think he was a little nervous. They just don't look like they should fly. I am not a 3d pilot but we did some high alpha which we didn't catch in the video. These really fly good for what the are. Trying to build a you tube channel, so if your following my thread and like these videos I hope you will subscribe to my channel. I will have an indoor Harry Potter next week, stay tuned and thanks for watching!!
