Default Montana Modelworks Plans

These combat plans are Buy One Get One Free until June 30. I just got the Mustang I ordered and the plans look awesome. Everything is clean and easy to read. The box arrived crunched, but I think that was a function of my mailman pitching it out the window of his van. The site has a good selection aircraft and even has plans for a combat tri-plane (I'd like to see how that works after a mid-air). The Buy One Get One Free info is on the order page.

These things are AWESOME! I let the plans sit for more than a year and I'm kicking myself because of it now. It took me two evenings to build the Mustang with parts I already had, and it flies great. It's flat, but it flies like a big plane and in wind that grounds glo pilots. I don't know what else to call it besides a really good-flying plane. I'd just like to say thanks to the folks at Montana Modelworks for putting out such a great aircraft. The F6F is next. Pictures to follow.

Motor: 2410-09Y
ESC: 20A
Battery: 1800 mah 3s
Servos: 3x 9g
AUW: 18.5 oz

It can even survive a 50 mph dive into the side of the house. (Although the battery did have to be bent back to shape.)

I finally got around to the F6F. Instead of foam board, I used EPS on this one and it gives it a very different personality. At about five ounces less, it's a heck of a lot more nimble, but can't take the wind like the Mustang. It'll be interesting to see how they perform against each other in combat.
