So we get all these Christmas catalogs and two of them offered a 16” Span SE-5 and F-4-U “old time balsa” pair of kits “from England.” One photo showed the kit with manufacturer’s name which is Vintage Models. Their selection is pretty extensive being new made laser cut copies of Keil Kraft and other defunct English kit makers. Sport models, gliders, and even ukies are available. I was familiar with Frog as a plastic kit manufacturer but did not realize that they started as a balsa flying model manufacturer. In fact their name was an acronym for their advertising slogan “Flies Right Off The Ground!”
Just Google Vintage Models. Prices for most kits run about £29.95 so they are not cheap.

This is real similar to what Dave Cowell is doing with DPCM Aerowerks here in the USA. He gets an extensive range of I think the entire line of discontinued Guillows WW-1 planes as well as many Comet and Sterling kits. His prices are much lower.
