What RPM do you get on that 24X12 prop?

It's been a couple years since I had that airplane, before it piled in. I believe I was turning around 6550 on the ground.

Wish I had data on the Brio I ran on 12S...
Maybe I have a log saved from the Turnigy Super Brain 100 somewhere.

6550 sounds a little low for that system.

Yeah
6500 RPM on 24X12 prop is around 5700 Watts.

Static RPM using a TNC Tachometer was ~6900rpm on an APC 24x12. This was still in my testing phases and using a Castle Edge 120 HV which reported closer to 5000 watts and almost 100 amps with its built in data logger.

I switched to the Jeti ESC since the Castle was giving me issues, but never took down RPM data, only wattage.

Get above a certain rpm static and the prop unloads because the blades stall. Watts can drop significantly.
Even Motocalc will recognize this.
Update the Castle firmware and it might cure its issue. They had an update relatively recently that makes a huge difference.

As I wrote in one of my previous responses, I have not had the airplane nor the setup installed in an airplane for years and that I originally had a Castle ESC (with the latest firmware at the time) but switched to a Jeti ESC because I could never get the Castle ESC to work properly.

The prop was not ripping on the ground. It could be 5900 rpm but again, it's been years since.
