Yes you are right, it is very green despite the long dry weather, but it seems the weather will be changing in the next days, cool and rainy.........

Default Sommer

Here are some new pictures from last weekend. The pictures are taken from 2 remote villages here in the spessart moutains. The little cute churches are typical in this distrikt and in bawaria as well.

Walter nice pics again. Never realized how much open space there is in Germany till you started posting up your wonderful pictures of your country. I do enjoy them and it makes me want to take some time out of my regular field flying to start traveling, and send my plane up for pics in different areas.

Default summer evening

A beautiful evening in the old town Miltenberg in northern bavaria. Bright evening sun, and a hayfield at the bank of the river main, what a favourable situation for AP.......................

Default Bad Soden Salmünster

Hello,

here my last pictures. The litte town Bad Soden Salmünster. It is located about 30 miles away from my hometown. Bad Soden Salmünster is a little cute town with sole hot springs and many health clinics.

Walter, more great photos! Cute little town indeed! What is the round (stone?) tower just up the hill from the church?

Hi,

the stone tower is one of the remains of the castle "stolzenberg". The castle was build before 1252, bud is addicted over the centuries. The tower was rebuild in 1970 as an observation tower and is a landmark of bad soden salmünster.

Default Little church

Hello,

Last week we have had good weather for AP and I took some pictures from a little church in a small town "Blankenbach" here in the Spessart moutains. The last picture has been taken during landing verry close over the church.

Hi,

greetings to Florida. We are next week from sunday in Naples Florida for vacations. I am looking forward to the 3 weeks in the sunnshine state. Naples is a wonderful place with the famous pier and the lovely beaches.

Great pics KB. Brought back many memories of flights over Spessart Mountains, River Main, Hanou and Frankfort. I flew out of Fulda for 5 years and always enjoyed seeing the entire country from above. Great job!
