This is what I use which allows me to fly comfortably at -20C.
-90 watt heater with fan to distribute the heat
-dual 12volt power source, external(car) or 3S lipo with low voltage cutoff, auto switched to external when plugged in.
- cut off gloves to seal hands
-spring loaded foam doors to retain heat between flights
-external throttle cut switch
-thermostat temperature control, set to 90F (max)
-radio display lighting
-runs 30-45 minutes on a 2200mah LIPO if preheated in the car

I love having sweaty hands at -20C, best thing I ever built for RC

Must admit that I'm considering one of those 12w Hot / Cold boxes ... you can get the little ones for a 6 pack of beer size .. only thing ... what temp is the HOT phase ? If it's anything like the cold function - probably not too high.
