Default Cox micro P-40 balance point?

I'm putting together a Cox micro P-40 warhawk from parts and I don't have a manual. Does anyone know the correct balance point?

Hey Ace if you don't get an answer by tomorrow night I can tell you then. I'll be back in Virginia then and can look at my manual.

I have the info for older ones, but I don't believe the P40 was out yet at that time. Still, the CGs listed on that info sheet are too far rearward, with the Cox planes I have flown.

7/8ths of an inch or 22mm back from the leading edge at the belly pan according to the manual.

That's the figure that has worked well for me on the 109 and 190 wing also. They spec some further back, but 22mm is where I'd start.

Thanks all, all I had was the wing and fuse. I built a tail out of balsa, and a flat black piece is standing in for the canopy. It doesn't look scale, but I think it will fly okay. I used a 12mm inrunner and 2.5:1 gearbox, so thrust is more than 1:1.
