I ended up purchasing the BP Storch kit based on the reviews I found on all the different sites. That and the fact I had all the electronics to get the model in the air.
Still have not maiden the plane yet but getting close.

Based on what I have read online these have poor glide characteristics and need power on for most of your air time. Mods were done to the elevator and rudder with carbon strips to stiffen the unit up and all the glue joints were beefed up with a spot of CA. Good luck with your purchase and maiden flight.

Thanks for your reply.
I have a Storch that started to build 3 years ago from plans that I purchased from RC Modeler magazine back in 1970. My Storch has a wing span of 78"' It is complete except for installing a radio and some other minor work. The wing is one piecee and just barley fits into my Honda CRV.
