Look for SEFF this year. 3DHS is unveiling a 70" 3D plane this year. Designed for 6s 5000 packs. Should be sweet! I'm hoping they do a 70" version of the Vyper-awesome! Just what I'm looking for.

Yes, 70' from 3DHS might be a solution, you can also wait for EF Extra 78'. I'm sure if you keep it light you will not be dissapointed.
Just take a look at this vid - http://video.google.pl/videoplay?doc...C4qzDCw&q=hepf

Seen Gernot fly that one before. Those packs have to be smokin'! My full fuse Bipe-X proto is designed for 6s packs and I'm trying to keep it lite for just the same reasons-should be fun!

Well, I'll find out in the Spring. I built a SU 50E with 6 cells this Winter.

Has anyone looked at the new GP Reactor Bipe. I'm considering it for a 6S setup, but none of the photos show any hatch detail.

I understand the GP planes tend to be on the heavy side, but that's exactly what I'm looking for. With the gale force winds we've had all year heavy may not be bad

Looks like a perfect 6s plane is just about to hit the market. 3DHS 70" Slick is one bad ass machine. Saw it in action at SEFF flown by the designer himself-Andrew "Animal" Jesky. I got to hold it and it is light! Andrew put it thru its paces during the event, didn't look like it had any bad habits or coupling. Sweet!

Engine: Hacker A50-16S
ESC: X70 SBec-Pro
Battery: Flight Power
3300-6S or 3700-6S
Propeller: APC 17x8E
The only thing that's different is that I'm using flightpower Evolite 4270 6s.

EDFrules, Last fall you asked if anybody was using the 6S 4900 Rhinos's. I have a 6S in my Sport Swift 16, but I fly it with a Scorpion 4025 1100kv. Thatas a 600 sized Trex motor. It is a ballistic rocket and I will be buying some more of these bats. Guess what ??? Hobbycity dropped the price under $90 !!!!!!!!
This bat balnces perfectly on my FMA BalancePro charger and it doesn't appear to have lost ANY capacity ina near 100 flights. Iknow, I accidently drained it to just under 3.0 v per cell and charged back over 5200 ma.! EagleTree has me peaking over 123 amps on heavy maneuvers.
I just ordered a few smaller Rhinos for foamies. There are a bunch of different configs in all cell counts up to 6. A 3S700 is <$10

Good to hear. I've been testing out some Flightmax's myself and also the Rhinos. No complaints yet-especially in the price dept. We're debating on whether it's worth it to carry them @gravesrc.com. HK doesn't give dealer prices, so we'd have to mark them up. My unofficial pole of customers at the store has confirmed that most would gladly pay a little more to have them on hand. Also @ SEFF, I saw more Zippys than the top brands and the performance was on the level or better. I'll be ordering some 6s 5000 30c's for my big bird and some more packs for my 450 heli. Love to have TP's in every model of mine, but I'd rather get 2 or 3 packs for the price of 1!!!!
