Default Part 2 - F4U flight Retract problem

In this flight the ESC was successfully replaced and the Corsair flown..but it has it's ups & down (More downs) as the left retract failed to extend causing some landing problems. I will try another flight at the beach with gear down.

Don't see part one. But I had a similar problem with the retracts for a Dynam Hellcat. In the plane, one gear would go up the other wouldn't. Pull the gear out put it on the bench plug it into a servo driver, worked perfectly. Put it back in would not work. Finally I bumped into someone with the same problem on the web. Came to the conclusion that the retract was not getting enough voltage. Installed a UBEC works first time every time now. Don't know if this apples to your problem since not seeing pt 1. But maybe it will help.

Am considering buying a set of these retracts. Can you please tell us what the problem and solution was?

indeed…. The solution, due to the non availability of spare parts here in Australia & expense of shipping from overseas, was to leave the retracts in a locked extended position.
