Default Parkzone Vapor BNF problem

Hi guys. I just received my Vapor BNF today.

I am using the TX from my Blade CX2 (LP5DSM)...I've followed the binding instructions, but it appears something is wrong as when I turn left on the TX the plane turnr right and vice versa....so it seems to be backwards.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the Blade radio. Does it have servo reversing?

Are you talking about AILERON control or RUDDER control?

The LP5DSM has DIP switches for servo reversing; they are located unde the door on the bottom left of the transmitter.

DO NOT CHANGE THE POSITION OF SWITCHES 1-4; THE TRANSMITTER MAY STOP FUNCTIONING NORMALLY. (This is from E-Flite; I have no clue as to the truth of this statement.)

If you wish to reverse the AILERON servo (should there be one), change the DIP switch marked 6; to reverse the RUDDER change DIP Switch number 8. (For reference DIP 5 is THROTTLE, DIP 7 is ELEVATOR)

If you make the switch, be sure to change it back before flying the CX2.

Thanks for the tips everyone! It worked like a charm.

I've flown inside the house with no problem and outside in my backyard with a slight breeze...this thing is a blast!

For flying the CX2, dip switches 1, 6 and 7 should be in the up position, all others in the down. For flying the Vapor, all of the dip switches should be in the down position.

There is a great little table here:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=611167

which details what all the dip switches do. It is setup for Mode 2 so I had to fiddle a little... My Vapour mixed Elevator and Aileron about 100% so I had to fix that! Now all is fine.

For me, on Mode 1 here in Australia, I have set:1 - on; 2, 3, 4, 5 - off; 7, 8, 9, 10 - off.

Cheers
