OK Guys, lets not take this poor kid's thread off topic bashing the monkey (tho it IS so much fun).

Get the youth card, find a club nearby, and fly with an instructor and you will learn very fast, I bet.

Actually I hadn't read enough to have a clue what was going on, so I guess not me too.

I really thought the "grow" plane was just a 20 year old design that I never had heard of.

I should have known you wouldn't be a part of such nonsense.

Thanks Bill for standing above the rest.

Default why the monkey bashing?

Why does everyone always bash the flyingmonkey? He is obviously some poor sap, who happens to fly rc, that was captured and forced to undergoe some hideous genetic experiment (or paid lots and lots of American dollars) that turned him into a weapon that can be turned on/controlled so we can defeat our enemies with far flung flying monkey poo. Unfeeling people......

Just head down to "off topic chit chat" there is an entire thread of Monkey "bashing". Make your own conclusion.

playful?...hmmm....ok yeah, I'll go with playful!

actually, Spencer, kidding aside, it is just friendly banter between friends...

and Spitfire, Welcome to Wattflyer! as you've seen, we're real friendly, even if at first glance it seems to be different. a great group of people even though we are a bit hard on the monkey!

I think the monkey thing is just a prank toward all of the folks on WF to throw them off when reading others post. You mind as well make one super-account that posts in every other thread.
