Default Well priced 6S Li-Fe A123 charger from TrueRC

Now in stock at www.TrueRC.com

The new e-Station LP6 ensures SAFE charging of rechargeable Lithium batteries (Li-Polymer, Li-Ion, Li-Fe consisting of series-wired cells by employing advanced charging technologies to confidently charge the battery pack. The charging algorithm of LP6 reflects the latest technology, and enables you to make full use of your Lithium batteries at their maximum performance.
- Simple and easy to operate
LP6 can be programmed using three buttons to charge various types of Lithium batteries. You can set the type of cell, number of cells being charged and charging current. The LED display will show what you set by buttons in simple manner. And it also will show the error code, when it happens. (Please note the explanation of error code)
- Micro processor controlled charging process
Like the big brother of e-STATION chargers, LP6 has a high performance micro-processor to control the charging process. LP6 always monitors the whole parameters during process, and guarantees the maximum safety. LP6 can be used with the voltage balancer-PB6, to equalize the voltages of individual cell.
- Cost
e-Station LP6 is the least expensive 4Amp / 50Watt capable charger for up to 6 cells in series. It is definitely the Best Deal charger available for Li-Fe packs at this time.
- Fast setup
e-Station LP6 is very simple to use. Just connect to any 12V power source - we recommend at least 5A capable power supply. Pre set your chemistry (Li-Fe, Li-ion or Li-polymer), set the cell count (1C = 1Cell, 2C= 2 cells) and set the current in .5A increments. Once these settings are input, connect your pack and press Start/Stop button and hold for 2 seconds to start the charge. Charger can be programmed very fast, in less then 10 seconds from connecting to power source. If disconnected from power source the charger will remember the last settings.

*Li-Fe battery
Lithium-Iron (Ferrite) Phosphate (LiFePO4)
Also known as A123 brand battery.

WHAT YOU GET WITH CHARGER:

Only from TrueRC you will receive Deans Ultra banana plug harness with purchase of LP6,

and communication cable for the PB6 with purchase of the PB6 and LP6 combo

Best Wishes,

Dan

Dan, the manual implies one is limited to 1C in charging.

What is the maximum amperage rate for charging?

Thanks!

The maximum charge rate this charger can deliver is 4A

The limit to how fast you can charge your battery ( C rating) is only limited by the battery itself.

For example if you have a Li-Fe or Li-po 2000mAh pack you can set it to 4A and it will charge at 2C

1000mAh pack set to 4A would be charging at 4C

ALLOWABLE FAST CHARGE CURRENT 1C or less is written in the manual not because its a limitation of the charger, but rather as a SAFE charging practice guide. you can charge it faster if you want or if the battery manufactures says you can charge it at 2C or 3C

Best Wishes,

Dan
