Hi Chris

First off I think your a top notch vender! I'm curious as to what Hyperion changed in the retracts. Honestly they are the only let-down on my Version I Miss America.

Nice to see you here.

I think you mistitled the post ... I actually came to the forums to look for this exact thing and thought it was odd that it was at the top of the list and only one reply, since I remembered posting about the new Suzy several weeks ago.

Anywho ... I'm curious to hear about the retracts as well. I was thinking of buying that new A4 Skyhawk as a Christmas present for Dad, but then I remembered Suzy, and I think she'd be a much better present (neither of us are ready for the speeds of EDF's yet ... we were both a little taken aback at my P-47's speed on a plain old brushed motor, even. Hehe).

Also, any plans for holiday / Black Friday specials, sales, coupons, etc?

First on the title, yes you are correct. I found out the one thing you can't edit is the title!:o I copied my orginal post about the Susy and meant to edit the name, but hit submit accidentally before I got that far. Personally I like the Susy scheme better anyway!

The new silver Hayate 25e is very cool too, by the way.

RETRACTS
They supposedly have bigger hardened 4mm set screws, instead of the original 3mm set screws. The little brass rods on top have been replaced with steel rods as well. I don't know how much better they are, but I managed to get a couple of the new ones and one customer has said they are improved.

TITLE
Hey they changed the title for me! I asked and they fixed it! Thanks!

SALE??
I expect to have a sale going on the 4 day holiday weekend, though I don't have too many of these in stock, so when you see the sale start, buy early. Only on instock items, so no special orders if we run out or no drop-ship items.

What day (Thursday or Friday) and time are you planning to start it? I'm there.

Chris is one of the best, and I'm very lucky he is only a few miles from me!

Hey PerlAddict,

I just noticed, my brother used to live in Murfreesboro, TN. He worked for a company called Calsonic in Shelbyville, and still does only in Detroit. He travels back an forth to TN all the time.

Well, cool. Small world. We live right on the edge of town on 231, which is the highway that runs into Shelbyville if you drive about 30 minutes past our house. I go down there a good bit for work, so I know the area okay. I've heard of Calsonic a bit when working down there, but never been over to it.

It's a nice place to live, but it's getting awfully crowded here in the past few years. Murfreesboro is nuts, and I'm sure Shelbyville's population is only going to get bigger and bigger as the area keeps expanding.

Thanks for sharing that with me - pretty cool!

I went to buy the "Suzy" version of this plane at 10:00 PM PST, and it tells me "The combination of options you have selected is currently out of stock. Please make another selection."

However, if I tack on the option to add the power system for $177, it lets me add it to the cart without any fuss.

Are you only going to be selling Suzy with the power system? I had hoped to get an order in for the plane tonight.

Thanks and sorry for the mix up. Our inventory system has a hard time with options. I don't usually have orders so quick that I can't adjust for those things!

Hope you are happy with your purchase!

You're welcome, and thank YOU! Great price on a plane I've been eyeing ever since you announced it. I plan on completing my Phase3 P-38 this weekend, then the Corsair's next up, then the Ultrafly P-51, and we'll top it all off with this as the grand finale. Definitely the start of a good plane building month! I'm psyched.
