I am just glad there are 5 pilots in GA. Hopefully the furthest I have to drive is to Marietta.

OK, Kev, wait no more. Here is the Pilot's Map.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...045fb2c7ae1f68

I have started numbering the pilots. It's headed North out of Richmond. Pilot #5 is confirmed.

You already told us the plane was a 60" balsa P-47. I can't wait.

Looks like you east coast guys have it covered. Little skimpy in the middle. Guess you went for quality not quantity.

We could use a few more between Savannah, GA and the VA guys, I's say. Red Scholefield out of Gainsville, FL could meet one of us GA guys (me?) in Valdosta, GA, then back up to JStone maybe? I'm sure Frank has a route in mind. (spelling terrible tonight, think I quit this...)
Bryan, haven't taken a picture of damage yet, but the body structure took a beating. There is stress cracks all the way back past the wing tube on one side. All that small thin plywood just came apart. I'll have to look it over carefully. Funny, but as hard as it went in, the nose cone didn't even break, just pushed all back and main break just aft of the break you had. That area stayed together...lol Also popped 2 of the engine cowl screws out someplace... Oh well....
