Default airplane for T shirts

OK lets give people to express their preference for the type of airplane for the shirts.
If you want a color other then gray post that here after voting in the pole.
There will only be one color chosen but I want the majority to be happy.

For the T-shirt color --> something bright (yellow, red, orange, etcetera). If you go with "golden age", please consider the Peashooter.

The art work has to be in a single color. I am not sure if that would do justice the p26.

I picked general aviation. I'm not real picky, I'll be happy with just about anything and any color.

I have also considered a Piper NE1 ( US Navy J3 Cub) since I am helping a friend restore one. And I will also be getting flying lessons in it when it is done.
But I want to be open minded.

The brighter the color the better for the T-Shirts. Orange, Yellow, etc. They stand out more and have a bigger impact.

Art work- I like the idea of keeping it golden age, but the choices are limited.
For for the best looking shirt, and the type plane most flown, You should. probably go with a WWII fighter, like a P-40, P-47,or mustang. I would use American planes.

Shirt color- I would like to see Darker color like, 1) dark mustard, 2) burnt ornge. 3)forest green, 4) maroon. I think the mustard would be the best color, it's light enough that you could still use black for the design. The other colors you would have to use white.
Bright colors do draw atention, but they look like a kids Tee shirt, I don't like wearing them in public.

Default T shirts

I have been looking for art work and ideas for the shirts.
I had this idea this morning and would like some feedback...

Instead of just one plane what about 3? I idea is to show a progression.
Start out with a WW1 fighter then a between the wars fighter and last a WW2 fighter.
Each slightly bigger then the earlier one.
Thoughts?

That is also the paypal address.
You can buy raffle tickets T shirts and pay your $10.00 landing fee all by paypal now.

paypal is unavailable for the time being.
Checks or money orders will be what we use for now.
And of course cash if you pay at the event.

OK the art work is going to be a progression of 3 aircraft on the back. Covering a span of years including WW2.
The front will have a pilot on the left chest area. But a different and I think better style then last year.
Colors are going to be gray and also blue.
I talked with most of the local fliers about colors and art work and also considered what has been posed in this poll and the threads here and also on rcg.

I think all will be happy with the results.

I can be there at 1, but I thought you changed it to 2. Either works for me. When will the others be there?

Nope. Never changed it.
Others will start getting there around noon. But we will wait for you.
While we wait we can say unkind things....
