Any of the E Flights work good on it? Me thinks my 400 inrunner is a little much

Which ultimate? Is it the Ultimate FX full body or the Profile?

He must be talking the profile. My e-flite 400 is definitely not too much for the 3DFX.

Yeah its the little White and yellow profile. Think a Park 400 740kv would do it?

I think the 400 might be a little too much for it. If it is what you have though, go for it. I ran mine with a Park 370 geared inrunner and if I was going to pick up an outrunner for it, I would with the Park 370 outrunner

I'm not sure I'd worry about it too much. This plane defines fragile. It's life expectancy is so short the motor is a kind of moot point. Tom

The Park 370 inrunner is comprable to the 400 Outrunner, go with it.

From my experience the Park 370 4100kv inrunner on the E-flite box has far more power than the Park 400 740kv out runner. Tried various props with in the specified range, but the 920 kv park 400 is way better. The park 400 740kv and 11X6 slowfly or 12x4.7 slow fly would work on the ultimate. had all 3 motors in my ultimate fx, and the 370 on the box was by far the most powerfull combo. Granted the Park 400 could be as powerfull, but would be drawing too much current.

The 370 4100kv inruner on the e-flite box and the park400 920kv out runner are very similar, but the 740kv park 400 was rather dissapointing to say the least. Got simmilar results regarding current draw and power, also in the region of 150watts.
A friend of mine is flying one with the 400 out runner and it goes very well.
These are great foamys and have fun.

Regards,

Gus
