Default Fear Farm ARIZONA help learning to fly.

Anyone in western Phoenix area that could help me learn to fly and maybe some basic "need to knows" for a beginner? I'm pretty close to the Fear Farm RC area. I've tried flying myself and am having trouble. Please let me know and I'll give you some info so we can meet and fly.

I presume this is a club to which you refer. Why are you not going ot the club for help?

BTW, unless you are using 2.4 GHz, you better be careful about frequency control if you are near an RC area.

Default I'm a Certified Flight Instructor/retired pilot

I'd be more than happy to give you RC flight instruction. I've got a college degree in aeronautics and 27 year experience with aviation. My phone number is 602-348-2460 and my name is Charles. I can teach basic aeronautics to advanced flying and aerobatics. Look forward to talk with you and teaching you how to feel confident and really enjoy the hobby of RC flying. Sincerely, Charles

3Dflyer1968,

A most generous offer. However note that jrowles91 post is from 6 years ago. Hopefully he has found an instructor by now.

Well, either he became an expert and did not enjoy forums or he lost interest and left the hobby.

LOL yes, it pays to check the dates of the last posting. Some people post once and never come back to check for answers, let alone thank anyone for a response.

Hope you enjoy the forum Charles.

Fear Farm used to be on the west side of the 101 just north of the 10, but the flying field was closed down several years ago as the property owner expanded for soccer.
