Default Jr XF631 radio

I have flown glow in the past and have been away from it for several years. Now I am intested in going to eflight and know absolutely nothing about it. Will my JR XF 631 radio be of any use in the future? In looking at available planes I see that most come with a 2 or 3 channel radio.

Your JR Transmitter is fine for a wide array of 4 channel electric planes. Just about anything for sale with only 2 channels is really little more than a toy. Welcome to Wattflyer Mountainman.

Hi Mountainman Steer clear of the RTF ready to fly planes that come with the radio, electronics and motor, they are Cheapy junk, you will be wasting your money, use your Quallity JR radio, and a feather weight JR receiver, for smaller planes, the tower pro 9gram servos work great, Heads up Rc on E Bay have, motors, lipos, ESC, electronic speed controls, props, at very reasonable prices, Jeff at H U RC is a safe E Bay Seller, lots of wattflyers buy from him, here are some nice planes, at great prices, buy your plane, then install Quallity electronics in it, and you will be much much happier, than getting the RTF Junk,

Thanks much! I will have a look at Jeff. I am looking forward to getting back into the hobby and away from all that messy glow stuff. Maybe I will convert one of my glow planes one day.
