It's for all of them. I'm going to buy an Ember off of Scott today. The Penguin is in the mail so I should have it Monday or Tuesday. Then next week I'm either going to get another LiddleRod or maybe a Super Spoil Sport.

Default Good to see everyone !!!

Had a great time, thanks James for the prop so the baby Beast could be flown more. Its not much of an indoor flyer as I had hoped but has great scale looks.

I think I am going to splurge and pay the extra $30 for a McFoamy. The kit comes with the painted EPP, CF, motor mount and all the other little knick knacks. Plus it just looks so dang cool.

Nope...it's a McFoamy from WMP (West Michigan Parkflyers). Here's a link to his build thread on RCG's.

Greg (WMP) sells Leadfeather Yaks also. Awesome paint jobs, I have built around 5 of them, but I think if I destroy another I will buy one from him too. Cheap and you don't have to paint it.

Scott told us today at the Unclub, that we will be flying for free in the Owasso YMCA, next Saturday night. I'm not sure what time. Maybe Scott will post and give us the details, (hint, hint) According to Scott, We can fly any time we want if we pay a total of $40. This is a great price, cause we can easily get 8 guys to fly once or twice a month. That's only $5 each.
Give us the details again Scott. and Thanks for finding another indoor place to fly!

You'll just have to call in sick Mike . Either next weekend or January 2nd at the Rose Bowl again. Or better yet, both.

Well I kind of messed up making the control rods for the Penguin. I didn't like my first couple of attempts and before I knew it I was out of wire. I have some CF that I can make rods with but I will have to wait until Monday to get some really small heat shrink.

James, I decided to try and make a micro bug before the pinguin. Here are some pics. 11"ws, AUW is 29gm. I tried to fly it in the garage, it hoverd ok, and harriered fine, but when I transitioned into forward flight, it went all squirley. Does anyone know where the cg should be on the lightflight bug? I figured a third back on the wing is a good place to start.
Oh, and I crashed it and broke the prop shaft. Hope to have it fixed by Sat.
