On a lot of the less expensive motors such as the ones from Turnigy it means:

Outside Diameter of the can = 35mm
Overall length (not including the shaft = 48mm
KV (rpm / volt) = 900

Though some manufacturers use the first diameter number as the diameter inside the motor (not the can).

Hi nwillitts,

Sounds great.

How did the E-Flite Park 450 fit in regards to the cowl opening? I know you had to enlarge the hole a little for your previous motor. Just wondering if this would have been necessary for the Park 450.

I don't think it would have since it uses a standard shaft and collet.

i have not mounted it yet.just your mount so far-will mount today and let you know.
i was doing stress tests on it last night-clamped it to my vice.

went from 8x4 to 10x7 prop.

ok-new cub-same model.found at a local shop for $140.
cracked up my last one so i put all the mods on this one.
had an expert flyer that i met-who also manages a hobby store-maiden this for me.
the video is a bit shaky-i was a bit excited plus too much coffee.
