Default Maintenance and service before summer

Since many has started with this hobby, and many have only seen the finished fomies would I like to show how I prepare a good old balsa model with a glow engine for this summer's flights. Tightening the cover, minor repairs, fixing new things to it and starting the engine. I have split this into four videos where the last video is a test flight of the model.

Part 1 of Maintenance and service before summer

Hope you like the video.

GLOW!!!!!! plane with fuel??? this is Wattflyer, not Fuelflyer[slimy flyer]

Ok, the idea of going over ones aircrafts in the hanger before the flying season begins up north is very wise. many thing go overlooked and could have saved a bird if only pilots would go over their planes and see if they are air worthy.

LooooL i know, it's a glow model. But it's the same for Electric as well when they are getting some years and are made from balsa and covering film. So I hope this one is ok to post anyway.........

Part 4 of Maintenance and service before summer. This is the last video in this series and the test flight of the RC-Viking in windy conditions, it was a bit to windy and was close to a crash at takeoff. Hope you all liked this miniseries, and if you would like other videos made in the same setup but with a different topic so just let me know.
