Eriic, there's this http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/show...036#post529036 but not many threads on it in the discussion forums either here or on other sites. Feel free to start a thread!

The thread you started is fine. You know you can rename the title to just say "Easytiger F22"

Have you received this F-22 yet?

I ordered one of these from Easytiger and he gave me a tracking number on 12/28. Tracking has shown "billing information received" and has not been updated ever since. It should have arrived by now. New York to Wisconsin does not take this long. Curtis of easytiger has assured me that it was shipped......but I don't know where it is???

Just wondering if anyone has received one of these yet??

I purchased mine on 12/28, and received USPS tracking # that same evening. I am aware that USPS tracking is not as accurate or detailed as UPS or Fedex, but I also know that it seems very unusual there have been no updates to the tracking # for the last 11 days! I will keep you posted if I receive it.

I am just a casual observer, but if it has been sent via parcel post it can take a while sometimes. 10 days is not unusual.

I am in no way connected with the seller. Just to be perfectly clear.

Spoke with the owner of Easytiger this morning very nice guy. And he has told me that the planes have gone out and I trust him, They went out threw the USPS and they don't track as good as some of the other shipers, But I think they do a better job. So you will get it and mine will be here too. And I will start the build log as soon as the box comes. Can't wait to get the bird and fly her. 40 mph to 70mph winds out here in so cal today and all weekend no flying out side today good day to catch up on some repairs. So I will keep you posted. Eric

The last few things I've got from China have come USPS once in the States. I had finally got a location from the tracking number once the package is at the last major stop from my local post office. Basically good for nothing, other than letting me know that it will probably arrive at my home the following day.

Still nothing here......been 2 weeks in transit now! I was under the assumption that he was shipping these from New York, but I wonder if he is having them drop-shipped from the manufacturer in China? That would be the only reason I can think of as to why it's taking so long.

giddyuperic...get yours yet?

I hope he get's a handle on these things, as you want to start out 100%, and not like BH did. I'd like to see him do well, as he offers us more options in the ARF/RTF market. You really need to be straight with people on whether you have product in stock, or are just a middleman. Realistically, we all get better prices if the distributor is a middleman with lower business costs, but then they have to have complete faith on the quick shipping and 100% stock honesty of their business partner.

The businesses which do the best are ones that get a reputation for being 100% accurate about what they have in stock. In other words, you can literally be assured that they have it sitting right in front of them, and not somewhere else, and that they will send it out from their location the next day.

Shipping times are important, right down to the wire. I'm convinced that there have been a number of disributors with like products, where some ship that day, some the next, and some a few days later. The one/s that ship the same day, or the next business day worse case tend to be overwhelmingly succesful, wiping out their competion. People literally remember which vendor is 1 day faster than another, on average.

Default Easytiger F-22

Got the plane and it is very nice looking jet. There was some shiping damage, but nothing I can't fix. It should have no damage at all. They said they would take it back and pay for the shiping both ways but I want the jet. So I will fix it and should have her in the air by thursday, still waiting for the 4cell batterys from zippy. I had a friend do the cockpit and it looks sweet I will post some photos of it when it is done. Here is the damage and what it looked like right out of the box. And the plane is mde by a company called ling lang models from china, I am not shure if I spelled that right Dah!!!!!!!!!!

I put about 60% negative expo into my radio. The plane is set up so that the ailerons are tied into the elevator so you use a delta mix.

Eric it's the same mix you use on wings. I don't have a dx6 so I 'm not sure what it is called on your radio.

How much flying experiance do you have?

Default She is all ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check it out but darn foam it is so easy to put a dent in it all you have to do is look at it and bang!!! there is a dent. The cockpit was done by a friend very nice. And the 70mm with the zippy it should move pretty fast. But we are going to have wind again tomorrow and maybe friday and then slam big wind this weekend too. The 4cell fits in there perfect, you can even run a five cell,

Stay up all night building it?

Yes foam is foam. I've got in the habit of running a layer of epoxy along the wing LE and other critical areas on foam planes. If you spray over the epoxy with Model Masters flat clear, you'll barely see it afterwards, as it dulls the glossy appearance.

For standard foam, I've found GWS planes to have strong, dense foam. Eflite is 10 cent beer cooler grade foam.
Any opinions Eric on where this foam stands, in comparison to others?

Thanks I think it is a cross of EPP and EPS if that makes any sense to you? Thanks for the tip may I see some of your planes please? Wll any clear coat work or does it have to be model masters brand only? Thanks Eric
