Congratulations Nick..Happy B- Day You have become an accomplished pilot. I stopped by the Corona field on my way to work. I saw that 2 of their members are practicing with F-35s for the EDF event . A club member there said they are expecting 400 people.

It flies SWEET!!!!!! I'm leaving Oakland now heading home. Wash some clothes and heading to Calgary tomorrow. I built this thing in my hotel room and maidened it up here The taileron set up works really well, and the wing flaps make it so it it lands like a butterfly with sore feet. The motor set up I settled with works great on 3 cells and it still has exactly 1:1. On 4S it would be stupid I kept it on 3 cells for now because too much mods needed to fit a 4S pack in this F-35. Heck even the 3S 2200 is a tight fit!

Awesome Bob..

I look forward to seeing your plane fly..

Hey guys.. i managed to head over to Corona RC pretty late but I still got to fly there. There was a very cool club member that stuck around while I got a bunch of flights in on ALL my bigger warbirds! A couple got two flights in!

I LOVED it out there! Thanks Dennis for setting that up! Really appreciate it!

We got invited to fly there again tomorrow! So I'm heading out there tomorrow morning EARLY like around 8 or so ..

Can you guys make it?? I'd like to fly there again! I figure we can meet up around 745-8 or so to get at least one table.

What do you guys think? One more day at Corona RC?

Hey Dennis.. will your buddy be there tomorrow?

Bummer I can't fly my planes there guys...

Having an electronic failure mid flight and bouncing off someone's roof with a foamy is one thing...

Having an electronic failure mid flight and tearing through someone's roof with a 10lb zero might ruin our day...

Have fun though! I may join you guys next week before heading out to IE in the morning to test fly the smaller EDF for the event.

Maybe the MIG 15 too..

Speaking of Foamy things..

I don't know.. but it's starting to grow on me! Except of course that landing gear setup..

James and I will join you at Corona , Chong.. Steve if you read this let me know what's up.. Jesse did you get to fly there? I'll give that AMA application one more week then I'm gonna go to Apollo 11. 4 weeks is enough .
I've renewed by E- mail over the internet before and it's instantaneuos. So you guys that are saying it takes time are blowing smoke up the wrong tree. I know it's my fault for not renewing B 4 the event. But I was only gonna register James then fly after the event hours during open flying time. But I was encouraged and pressured by them guys to join up and wanted to be agreeable.

Hey Art..

I hope you're feeling better.

It's a dirt but it's hard packed dirt and very well maintained.

I flew all my tail draggers there and it was perfect! It's nice and LOoooooong too.. and WIDE!!

In fact my little world's model Texan (40" wingspan) had NO problems taking off and landing on it and that's saying something since the tires for that model are WAY too small (they are about the size of quarters.. !

And that's no exaggeration..

Stop on by and fly tomorrow Art.. i think you'll have a great time!

The F4F Wildcat IS a very cool looking warbird, but I agree that the LG is just too complicated for OUR realm of RC.....LOL.
Bummer your fleet has gotten away from parkie size, Chong......I understand though.

Have fun at Corona tomorra'

No I think Nick contacting him is enough reminder for right now. And me telling AMA I paid him. Course he could get mad and who knows.... Maybe the club Secy. sends in the paperwork at the end of the month... I don't know.
Those gear are fixed on that Wildcat it is a hand launch model http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFzWF...layer_embedded
