It doesn't have to be exact, just close enough to give a general location of where you are for route planning purposes. Dan S is a friend of mine that I work with. He hasn't become a member of WF yet.

Okay...so how would we get this thing to Alaska? I don't think that hand carrying it will work for me. And as for driving it to the next person...uh...no.

Smitty,

Unfortunately, our friends in AK & HI have to be excluded for those reasons you mentioned. They understand. It's the curse for living in paradise.

91 pilots signed up as of right now! We should be over 100 by the end of the day.

Thanks to all participating pilots and please continue to get the word out, especially in the areas where there are big holes.

I think in the case of the guy who posted it, it's pink spandex instead of skirts.

Things are looking pretty good pilot wise. We have some holes to fill, but I am receiving emails from quite a few non RC forum pilots willing to help out. If you some folks that would like to participate, please let FiremanBill or me know. We can really help with spreading the word.

Thanks,

Frank

He did not pick mine. I guess I will go pout.

Do you get some kind of prize for him picking your name? Probably.

We all voted on the name so it was a group effort, but I do like it. Short, sweet and to the point!

Default Email Sent

All WAA-08 participating pilots should have received an email from me last night. If you did NOT receive an email, I do not have your email address or I typed it wrong. Please PM your name and email address again and I'll check on it.

Email is the only efficient way I can get in touch will all the pilots -105 of them right now. Not all pilots are members of WF or that other forum.

Some had said they couldn't download the Word .doc in my attachment so I updated post #1 to reflect the same info I sent out in my email.

Still looking for more pilots. If you know someone that would like to participate, especially on those big open areas on the map, please have them contact Bill or me.

Thanks,

Frank
