Default HobbyKing "Blue Wonder" alternative

I'm looking to get an IFO so I can learn to fly indoors: http://wildrc.com/

I'm sort of on the fence between the IFO Mk3 and the Mini IFO. I like that the Mk3 would handle outdoor a bit better than the Mini because it's bigger, and I can use a lot of the equipment I already have (ESC, Servos). I'm a little concerned that it will be a bitter harder to fly indoors since it's bigger (33" span vs. 25" wingspan)

I like the Mini because it is small enough to pack into a suitcase and will probably be easier to handle in a single basketball court. I buy most of my stuff from HobbyKing (HobbyCity) since the prices are low and I can get everything I need in one order. However, they don't seems to carry the 2712-12 "Blue Wonder" motor. Does anyone know of a good HobbyKing alternative?

Comments/recommendations regarding the IFO are also welcome. Thanks!

Oh...well, thanks.
I looked but couldn't find it. I guess I didn't look hard enough.

Jeff over at HeadUpRC carries the 2712-12 Blue Wonder.

Shipping is cheap... $2. He almost always has them in stock along with a 10A ESC. Both the motor and ESC come with connectors pre-installed so it's just plug and play.

BTW, I use a BW on my IFO... which is converted to T-IFO dimensions for indoor flying. Don't know if it flies better than the Mini-IFO in small spaces as I have never compared the two.

I talked to Jeff a few months back and he said they didn't ship to Canada. Maybe that's changed? I use the HeadsUp website for reference a lot.

I'll second "Heads Up RC"... great prices, excellent service.

...and if you're interested, I published some performance data on a "Blue Wonder" I got from Heads Up here:

Enjoy... Jim.

???

I've placed orders with him as far back as August '09. No problem shipping to Canada (I'm located near Kitchener, Ontario). I usually get my items in 5-7 business days.

On large orders, you may have to pay GST & PST + $5 handling fee from Canada Post. Below $20 declared value is tax exempt... sometimes on items under $50 they don't bother either.

BTW, there are no import duties on radio controlled models, parts, or accessories.

Thanks for the data!

I am sold on HeadsUpRC's products but more importantly their service:

- Jeff has provided me invaluable information
- Has taken care of every issue I've had. He even sent out replacement parts n/c when I had a bearing go bad on a 2410-09Y.
- Items are in stock and you can rely on prompt delivery

I would not hesitate to buy anything from him!

Hmm, maybe it was more than a few months ago.
I'll more than likely start ordering from there from now on.

Oops my bad. My first order was in Aug 2009, not 2008!

I'll fix my first post...
