I have a mini-telemaster I want to build floats for. Something quick and dirty that works. Not interested in anything that is fancy, just need to build before the 4th of july. Probably about 24" floats.
I have pink foam and can get balsa/ply for deck and attachment.
I am thinking about something flat bottomed with a step. No ruddder.
Anyone know of any on line articles or plans? Experience building Q&D floats?
Any insight appreciated!

Check out smilesandwags.com for lots of info on float planes and floats. You could also get a set of Herr Engineering floats, they cost about $16.00 and can be built in a day as they go together very quickly. also check out GWS floats, they are very inexpensive. Either one of these floats should work on your plane. I posted a link but it goes to a dog site, you need to go manually then go to the one about floats

See the Cunningham article in Randy Linderman's website.
Basically you can bandsaw out a set of floats from insulating foam, and get them installed and functional in an evening.
