Well folks is this a milestone or what?!
I never imagined I'd belong to a forum that felt so much like a local flying club as this. One that makes you feel so much at home it is just second nature to post at will. Our little worldwide community is the best of the best, no doubt about it. I know for a fact I would not be nearly as active on this forum if it weren't for the great members that we have. I won't name names but just go look at the members list. They are all there!
I hope over the next 10,000 and beyond that we can keep Wattflyer the great little community that it is!
I have met so many new friends here that I never would have had the pleasure of meeting outside Wattflyer. Some I have even had the pleasure of meeting in person, and some I will meet in person in the coming days at SEFF!
What great avenue we have here for developing new friends, learning new skills, and getting technical advice, from folks that know what they are talking about. It sure makes it easy to progress. I don't think there is a single day that goes by that I don't read a post and think to myself "I did not know that"! but then I do and we are all the better for it!
Cheers everyone it's been a pleasure!
Now if you'll excuse me... I gotta go pack for SEFF!
HAVE A GREAT WATTFLYER DAY!

WattFlyer gives us that one more thing to do when it's too crappy to fly outside. Between posting in here and flying the AeroSoar around the movie room, I can weather out most any storm.
Congrats on 10,000, Bill. Although I do have to wonder how many balsa kits you could've completed in the time you've spent typing in your posts here on WF.
Oh, and btw, man thongs are the new HAWTNESS. Here's a video of me dancing for my wife:
Have no idea why she jumped out the window mid-way through the first verse.

I have thought that very same thing on more than one occasion! Especially now that we are leaving for SEFF tomorrow and my Yak sits unfinished in the box.

Yeah bud... Just missed us. All the tornado damage is just on the other side of the James River.
Some folks got really tore up over there. One guy I go to church with had some tree damage and his gas meter got pulled up out of the ground!
Thanks for asking buddy!

Firemanbill,
It says you joined in Sept 2005, and you alreay have 10K posts? Man, you need to get out and fly something. And I thought I needed to get a life. Ha Ha!
I know you help a lot of folks, so keep that going!
